Con el fin de promover la utilidad del intercambio de datos y la decisión de los editores de revistas científicas para poner a disposición todos los datos de los estudios publicados, el New England Journal of Medicine recientemente lanzó el Desafío SPRINT. El Desafío estuvo abierto a toda la comunidad científica y consistió en poner a disposición los datos del Ensayo de Intervención de Presión Sistólica (NEJM 2015; 373: 2103-16) para un análisis secundario. Los mejores informes serán seleccionados por un Jurado Internacional que evaluará su novedad, originalidad e impacto clínico, así como a través del voto de la comunidad científica. "In order to promote the usefulness of data sharing and the decision of Journal Editors to make available all data of studies published, the New England Journal of Medicine recently launched the SPRINT Challenge. The Challenge was open to all the scientific community and consisted in making available the data of the Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial (NEJM 2015;373:2103-16) for a secondary analysis. The best reports will be selected by an International Jury which will evaluate their novelty, originality and clinical impact as well as through crowd-voting.
